Ergonomic Assessments
Provide on-site evaluation of a worker while on the job. Identify risk factors and instruct in proper body mechanics while performing work tasks. Recommend proper set up of work environment to encourage performing tasks within the “ErgoZone.”
Job Coaching
Provide individualized on-the-job coaching regarding proper use of the body to reduce body stress. To teach proper physical and psychological strategies to employee and supervisor to ensure a successful job placement.
Job Analysis
Analyze the intricacies involved in a specific job and determine essential versus non-essential functions of that job. Identify category of work classification for each position according to the US Department of Labor
Standards.
On-Site Training Seminars
Back Training Seminar - The how and why of proper lifting including the anatomy and physics of the back while lifting and on-the-job tasks.
Upper Extremity Seminar - The proper use of the upper extremity including the shoulder, hand, and elbow. Look at the mechanics and anatomy of the shoulder and the importance of working within your “ErgoZone.”
Train-the-Trainer Seminar - Instruction to all Supervisors and committee members regarding ergonomics, lifting and posture with work tasks.
Functional Home Living Assessment
Insurance request for an Evaluation of an individual’s function within their home environment to determine attendant care, household replacement and ADL equipment needs to increase safety and independence within the home.
